Ann was the daughter of Ansel and Elizabeth Stone. Ansel's Revolutionary War Pension Application states that he was born 27 July 1763 in Mecklenburg, Co., Va. DAR records state he died 22 Aug. 1840 in Hurricane Shoals, Jackson Co. Ga.
