The Ottumwa Courier January 23, 2007Selma Frazier, 87, OttumwaSelma I. Frazier, 87, formerly of 12052 118th Ave., Ottumwa, died at 8:50 a.m. January 22, 2007 at Regency Care Center in Norwalk.

She was born January 30, 1919 in Davis County to James Elmer and Estella Pearl Garrett Rosenbalm. She married Winfield H. Frazier December 4, 1937 in Ottumwa. He preceded her in death December 6, 2000.

A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she had worked for 18 years in the cafeteria at John Morrell & Co.

She was a member of Davis St. Christian Church.

Surviving is a son, Gary Frazier of Altoona; a daughter, Brenda Scott of Ottumwa; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Halverson and a brother, Charles Rosenbalm.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Carpe officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
