The William E. Richardson Civil War stone has been removed; it was placed there by somemone who mistook this Wm. Richardson for William E. Richardson of Illinois, a sergeant in Co. F. 85th Indiana Infantry who was buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Annapolis, Illinois; he died at age 77 in l9l7. The William Richardson in this grave, Arabia Cemetery, died in l87l at age 71. He is my husband's great-great grandfather. He did not serve in the Civil War. I documented the birth, death, marriage and general history of Sgt. Richardson.
