She is preceded in death by her husband Leon Mitchell; parents; sister, Anna Lee Hagler; brothers, Onas Mynatt and Dossie Mynatt. Helen is survived by her son, Loren R. Goss and wife Judy; daughter, Mary E. Brown; sister, Betty Jenkins; 3 grandchildren, Annette Reser, Lee Brown and Melissa Roe and husband Jeff; 3 great-grandchildren, Cody Reser and Megan Chism and one on the way; 1 great-great-granddaughter, Sara Chism and many nieces, nephews and friends.Interment in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.Published in the News-Leader on October 9, 2013
