Mr. Linne died of cancer June 16 at age 76..He was born Aug. 13, 1918, in Portland, where he graduated from Washington High School..Mr. Linne was a bus and streetcar driver before serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired in 1981 as a sheet-metal worker..He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church..Mr. Linne married Gladys Hansen on Aug. 30, 1940..Survivors are his wife of Tigard; daughters, Jeanne C.
