My paternal grandmother's family emigrated to the United States from the southeast area of Norway around 1860 to 1880 and originally settled in Wisconsin. A great number of my ancestors are still living in Wisconsin or are buried there. On this side of my family, Rest Haven in Blair, Wisconsin and Fagernes Lutheran Cemetery seem to be the prominent cemeteries, although there are obviously others. Names on this side of my family around the generation that came from Norway are Knutson/Knudtson, Stutlien, Moe. If anyone has any helpful information, I welcome all of it. I am attempting to do both my maternal and paternal sides of my families so I get quite confused at times! :) (See my other virtual cemeteries for the other branches of my tree (paternal grandfather, as well as maternal grandfather and maternal great grandmother's sides) who all emigrated to Wisconsin from their respective homelands.) ***If you happen to have control of any pages that may be a relative of mine (and not yours) and would like to transfer them to me, I would be grateful.
