I created this virtual cemetery to honor the three members of the flight crew of Apollo 1. I never met any of the three astronauts, but in the late eighties I did serve space shuttle Astronaut Mark Lee breakfast at my restaurant before and after his trip into space on shuttle Atlantis. I said to Mark after his trip, I bet the launch was an experience, he said yes it was quite a rush, but his best experience was how fast they flew over the United States.
