Kara Ann PoundsNEW SITE - Kara Ann Pounds, 10 months, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at her residence near New Site. She was born Jan. 16, 2004, in Alcorn County. She attended Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Rickey Green officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.Survivors include her parents, Marty and Lacey Pounds of New Site; her brother, Joel Pounds of the home; her grandparents, Wilford and Glenda Pounds of New Site, Joy Rutledge and Clyde Edge, both of Booneville; her great-grandparents, Myrtle McVey and Alvetta Edge, both of Booneville, and Francis Rutledge of Millington, Tenn.; her aunts and uncles, Ryan and Mary Pounds, David and Missy King, Craig Rutledge, Frankie and Michele Rich, Joe and Vicky Roach.She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bobby Rutledge.Pallbearers will be Mitchell Pounds, Danny Pounds, Peanut Cole and Brad Cole.Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
