Hauge Cemetery

Located 5 miles South and 2 miles West of Alamo, ND
in the SW 1/4 of Section 17.
The cemetery is located next to the church that was closed 1985. It is fenced in with a gate and large sign and well maintained. The first burial was 1907, Mrs. Anton Johnson, whose husband donated the land. In 1945 the cemetery was organized, replotted and
evergreen trees planted. The early church was known as Sandy Creek
Hauge Norwegian Evangelical Church.
