St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery was founded by the German Angel Guardian Society. The Cemetery was consecrated in 1863, spans over 38 acres, and has over 87,000 interments (as of 12/31/22). Along with St. Henry Catholic Cemetery, it is the oldest existing Catholic cemetery in Chicago.
