Hometown of Hammond, Indiana, near Chicago. I now live in Boise, Idaho. I've worked full time in EMS as a paramedic and instructor since 1978. I also have worked for local funeral homes. My EMS work has been as an EMS provider, manager, educator, and in communications. I am currently an evaluator for the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS). I've been photographing cemeteries and grave sites since 1999. I have developed a presentation on the art and symbolism of gravestones and cemeteries which I give through the city's Community Education system, Boise State University and at genealogy/ family history and paranormal conferences throughout the U.S., and to various historical groups. I have given historical walking tours of cemeteries in Boise and am a tour guide at the Old Idaho State Penitentiary and the Idaho State History Museum, working with the Idaho State Historical Society. I also am an "unofficial" photographer for the Pioneer Chapter of the DAR in Idaho.
