I live in Central California, I'm a graphic designer, artist, my interest in researching genealogy began when I was twelve years of age. My father James Walter Waite used the family lineage as a history lesson. Beginning with William the Conquerer to the Waite's of Portsmouth Rhode Island, 1636.
I've spent most of my life in the Santa Cruz, California area. My fathers family is from Fox Lake, Round Lake, Illinois. I am particularly interested in researching Grant cemetery, Ingleside Ill. I have several ancestors at rest there! My mothers from Orland, Ca. I am seldom on this sight, still trying to figure it out though! Seems to be a useful tool, when adding to my family tree on Geni.com.
