The Upper Yard Burial Ground in the Town of Kensington, New Hampshire, was established in 1734 on a one acre portion of "upper" land, donated in 1733, and is bordered by a low stone wall. A meetinghouse was built on this upper rise of land, with a half-acre being reserved for the burial ground, known as the "Upper Yard." The building structure, replaced in 1782, is now a Unitarian Universalist Church. The Upper Yard burying ground cemetery has been closed to new burials since the 1820s.
