Yarkon Cemetery is the main cemetery of Gush Dan since its opening in 1991. The cemetery covers an area of 410 acres and contains 110,000 graves. In 2018, the Hevra Kadisha Tel Aviv began to build about 10 burial towers at the site, each of which will contain about 10,000 graves that will be spread over 4 floors that will be connected by an elevator. Together, the towers will contain about 100,000 graves.
