The Hunters Valley Cemetery Association Committee organizes administrative meetings, graveyard clean-up and an annual Homecoming service. The small cemetery is divided by a narrow road into two sections, upper and lower. The oldest and largest gravestones surround the picturesque mountain stone church, sitting high on a hill. The slightly lower, newer section accommodates more recent burials, although exceptions exist when families are buried together. This cemetery primarily buries those who live in the Valley.
1845 Messiah congregation organized
1865 Building constructed
1965 United with Liverpool Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd
2000 Became property of Hunter's Valley Cemetery Association
