The Geraldine Cemetery is owned and Maintained by

The Rock Church, 13394 AL HWY 227, Geraldine AL 35974.

The Rock Church's former name was Geraldine First United Methodist Church .

But the United Methodist Church Association changed some of its By Laws a few years ago. Geraldine First Untied Methodist Church members voted to leave the United Methodist Church Association which resulted in the Church being required to Change the name of the church.

The bew bame is "The Rock Church"

I believe there is some confusion occasionally when people are trying to find a grave st "Geraldine Cemetery" because there is another Cemetery in Geraldine behind First Baptist Church of Geraldine, 12854 AL Hwy 227 Geraldine AL 35974.
