Sneed Chapel Cemetery is reached by proceeding on the Jones Prairie-Calvert Road #979, turning northwest at the Cross Roads and proceeding 2.8 miles. As of 1963, the cemetery is located on what is now the homeplace of Harold Marvin Sneed, III (Rt. 2, Cameron, Texas). Mr. Sneed is the great-grandson of Joseph P. Sneed, a famous Methodist preacher of early Texas. Near the cemetery stands a monument which reads "Site of Sneed's Chapel Methodist church, 1880 - 1953." There are about 31 unmarked graves in this cemetery.
