View of the antebellum Greek Revival house a quarter-mile from the cemetery. Blue Spring Cemetery is picturesque and beautifully maintained. Photos don't do it justice.
There are many stone cairns without names marking graves in the older section near the front of the cemetery.
1821: James Dotson, James Jones, and David Settle were delegates from Blue Spring Church to the Mud Creek Baptist Association at the time of its organization.
1827: John Jones, Levi Isbell and Thomas Hargiss were delegates to the association from Blue Spring Church.
1828: James Isbell was a delegate from Blue Spring. A brother of Levi, James was buried here at Blue Spring in 1844.
1829: John Jones, Levi Isbell and his brother John Isbell were delegates from Blue Spring
