On 14 September 1876 the trustees, Alexander Washington, James Williams and Samuel Smith, for the Good Samaritan and Israelites of Zion, purchased the land from Thomas Tabb for $200.00. Deed Book 4, page 547.

On October 1896 the Good Samaritan and Israelites of Zion Tent #89, separated and the land was divided.
