This view was taken in June 2010 at beginning of Fort Seybert Educational project. The view is from the elementary school. The no parking sign is on school property. Research revealed that the original name was Old Franklin Cemetery. First survey since 1809 was taken in 2010 that revealed that road where buses parked was on cemetery property as was the house that set on edge of property. The Town of Franklin has agreed to maintain it. - All of this lost when new school was built. Who knows what would be found under that bank. Two people said that coffins were covered over.
