This cemetery was re-recorded for the State Historic Preservation Office by AllStar Ecology LLC under site # 46-GB-167 (note that the site number was erroneously assigned for Greenbrier County). The cemetery is located in the Monongahela National Forest.

This cemetery appears to have been utilized from the first burial, Solomon Alderman, patriarch of the Alderman family, in 1862 to 1950 with the last burial of Marvin Alderman, an unknown relation. Eight headstones were identified, with a minimum of nine burials. While the headstones were originally constructed of handmade wooden or stone markers, they have since been largely replaced with modern marble markers with the exception of Marvin Alderman and the shared headstone of Solomon and Elizabeth Alderman.
