This family cemetery is on private property, it is well kept. All the people here are related either by blood or marraige. The name is spelled several different ways according to preference according to a family member.

Per Oldest living member of this very large Measles/Mizell/Myzell family:
At one time this cemetery was much larger. The original part of the Cemetery grew up due to neglect then many years later was cleaned and a fence put up around the present site.
The cemetery extended beyond the fence there were many graves including C.S.A. Soldiers.
Many of these graves have been lost due to the increase of agriculture at the beginning of the 20th century.
Most of the names added here have been gleaned from family papers. So many more lost forever.

It is possible that there are also Shuler family members here, not to be confused with the present
African American Shuler cemetery that is near by.
