San Isidro Cemetery is square-shaped and about an acre in size. It's surrounded by a combination of rock and wire fencing, with access through the gate on the E side, near the SE corner. The N third of the cemetery has what are obviously headstones with very little or no identification information, having been lost to time and the elements. We believe we took a complete census when we visited in October 2020, and included all of what we believed to be graves, whether they had readable markings or not, to accurately reflect the history and nature of the community.

The road into the canyon is paved and easily accessed. Look for the town of San Ysidro on maps, and the name of the community church is listed as San Ysidro Labrador Church. The nature and condition of the cemetery is unremarkable for this typical rural community in northern NM.
