This inactive cemetery is located in the Preston Community between Conway and Mayflower, on the south bank of Gold Creek, which feeds into Lake Conway. The Pence Funeral Home records refer to this cemetery by various names: "Gold Creek," "Preston," "Line," "Lion," "Rankins" and "Barley." When the Pine Village Subdivision was being constructed, it was discovered that Line Cemetery was larger than they had realized. The developers donated some additional land to the cemetery after they began digging up graves on the original road site.

There are members of the Line and Lind family buried at Line Cemetery. Please note that this not a typographical error.
