This cemetery lies on the Winn / Grant boundary line at the intersection
of La Hwys 472 and 1230. Parking area is in Winn and church / cemetery
is in Grant Parish. Location is on the old Harrisonburg Road used by
pre-1860 travelers. Cemetery is well - organized and maintained.

Cemetery pre-dates 1870. Earliest dated burial (marker) is 1872. Census
noted 420 graves with legible markers and another 9 with stone or wood
markers. Numerous open spaces with no markers in oldest (Southwest) part
of cemetery.
