Located on the west side of Erie St South in Leamington, Essex County, abutted on the northern boundary by another cemetery named Erie Memorial Gardens.

Established in 1861 by Archibald M. Brown on land purchased from Garret Conover. Subsequent expansions were made in 1870 by Lewis Wigle and in 1880 by William Simpson. It is a non-denominational public graveyard spanning approximately 9.75 acres. Owned and operated by the Municipality of Leamington.
