Honeycomb U.A.M.E. Church
"The Light in the Valley"
324 Barren Road
Lima, PA 19037

An African American church that was a stop on the Underground Railroad.

The actual cemetery is about 50' x 300'. There are sunken areas without stones or markers, including a number within family plots. There are a small number of footstones, and several uninscribed markers (two or three at most). According to the sexton, there were a number of wooden markers that rotted and are now gone. The WPA listings for those graves for which there are no extant markers may be the only remaining records.
