Located on private property in the middle of a pasture. There is a concrete walled fence around it with large trees in the center. The stones are imbedded in the back wall, where trees and tractor tires made them hard to see and read. This Pioneer cemetery has only 5 graves located there: 4 are Reddish, 1 is Spencer.

December 26th, 2011 I with permission from the property owner went to this cemetery and found the one wall starting to crumble - it will be a matter of time before it is gone. Not only are there trees (2 pretty large, some smaller and alot of saplings) growing but 2 huge John Deere type tires plus other tires. On the far wall are 5 headstones cemented into the wall. They are those who are mentioned. I have taken photos of those headstones should anyone want them. Contact me at [email protected]

The cemetery is located in Greene Township (SW quadrant of the NE quadrant of Section 22 Township 16N Range 6W) on the west side of County Road 975 E.

Indiana Cemetery Locations, Volume 3, published by the Indiana Genealogical Society (April 2007), gives the primary cemetery name as Reddish Cemetery.

The cemetery is listed in the Cemetery and Burial Grounds Registry of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and in the State Historical Architectural and Archaeological Research Database (SHAARD) with Cemetery Record Number CR-61-60 (Reddish).
