Darden Cemetery is located inside the Bowers Park (T21S R9W S32). It sits behind the Oak Hill Elementary School. Years ago the Oak Hill Rest Home sat on the same property.



Restoration of the cemetery was started in 1969. The steps and walkway were made from old bricks found in the cemetery. There are over 135 "unmarked graves". A large number of those were once residents of the county poor house, formerly located on Hargrove Road near the cemetery.
