Saint Johannes Cemetery at Saint John's Church yard, Brooke Township, Buena Vista County, Iowa, USA.

A quaint cemetery in a really country setting. Burials date back to the late 1800s, and the stones go right up to the front doors of the church, which is active and holds regular Sunday services. The cemetery is also an active burying ground. The front and side yards are nearly full, so I imagine that we will soon see graves dot the back yard.

Impeccable and thoughtful maintenance keeps this cemetery warm and welcoming to mourners and visitors.
