This cemetery is located on a piece of land with the modern address of 515 Pleasant Dale Lane, in York County, Virginia. It has tombstones dispersed across the property in front of the old foundation of the Charles Parish Church, and includes a fenced in Smith family plot.

Per Poquoson/York Cemetery book:
These graves are located on the glebe land for Charles River Parish which was once a colonial church. The foundation and marker show the location of the early church. That church has now moved cross Yorktown Road and their building has passed to several hands since then. It is in the Tabb area of York County. There are several enclosures to this group of burials. Some are widely separated from the others. The two Carmines/Carminds graves lie beside the Taylor Farm Lane.
