Orville Cemetery, also known as Avery and/or Old Dewitt Cemetery is located behind the P&C Grocery Store at the corner of E Genesee St and Jamesville Rd, in Dewitt. It is an abandoned cemetery and at this time is in very poor condition.

The original Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Youngs' Society of Orville, John Young, and members of his family, and members of Peter G VanSlyke's family are interred here. The church eventually became what is now known as the Dewitt Community Church, on Erie Boulevard, in Dewitt. Other notable Dewitt families buried here are the families Thompson, Avery, Goodell, King and Dutcher. Andrew Thompson was a Revolutionary War soldier, Dewitt Adams fought in the Civil War, as well as other soldiers.
