This little cemetery is situated 1 mile south on a winding road [Bean Rd] , from Haysville, Wilmot Township, Waterloo Region, Ontario at the corner of the Tay Road to the west. It is surrounded by a wire fence and some old stones have been placed in a group at the east end of the enclosed area. Many of the stones are broken and worn. A stone cairn has been created
It appears that the John Stauffer family opened up this burial plot for their family but it was also used by their neighbours who were also Pennsylvania German Mennonite people. Most of them attended the Biehn Mennonite Church about 1 1/2 miles west of the cemetery. Around the turn of the century there was a burial ground started at that church.
