The Field family burial ground is located approximately one mile NE of the Village of Hartwick, on the East side of Route 11. It is cemetery # 88 on the Otsego County Cemetery Map.

It can not be seen from the highway. It is directly adjacent to "Hunter Hill Riding Instruction", 3317 County Highway 11, Hartwick NY 13348. Go up the drive, park. The cemetery is to the right of and beyond the buildings. Some stones are in bad shape with many broken, face down, flaked off, or otherwise weathered.

Most postings to this cemetery were taken from listings made in July 1989, when the markers were still readable, then updated from photos when available. It is believed that some remains may have been moved from here to the Hartwick Village Cemetery.
