Ollum Cemetery is located in Salem Township, in Monroe County, Ohio. South of Clarington on State Route 7 about 1 mile. The Quaint little cemetery sets in the bend of the dirt road along Posseum Creek.
The Cemetery is on the left side of the road and sits on a hillside which goes down to the creek. It can be easily missed.
This is the Ollum Family Cemetery. And holds earlier pioneers and Revoluntionary soldiers.
It was unkept for many years and overgrown with weeds. Once the Ohio Historical Society got involved, the Township Trustees now keep it mowed. Many of the stones have been damaged and unreadable from years of wear. When I visited, a number of the stones were laying off to the side under a tree.
