Freeman Wilkerson Survey. Approximately 4 graves dated 1918 to 1931 for the Gabriel Lentz Family. Inactive.
Directions: Going West on Hwy 71 from the town of Bastrop, turn left on Hwy 20. The gated entrance to the road to the cemetery is located on the right across from the Cedar Hollow Road going to the right.
History: There are 3 headstones in the cemetery but a death certificate for 1931 showed a grandson was also buried there. It is unknown if there are others.
11/25/2003. Volume 1393 page 251. Anton and Jane Goertz to Howard Goertz. Tract 2: Being a 1.00 acre tract of land out of and a portion of the Freeman Wilkerson Survey, Abstract Number 347, said 1.00 acre tract of land being described to Anton J Goertz and wife, in that certain deed recorded in Volume 661 page 827. Exhibit A: All of that 1.00 acre lot, tract or parcel out of Freeman Wilkenson Survey in BC part of 90.214 acre tract described as Tract No 1 in deed from Harold Olan Voight, to Gloria V Neuenschwander, et vir, 10/22/1985 Volume 396 page 566. Map shows cemetery on County Road No 237 (Old Red Rock to Bastrop Road no longer used).
3/19/1993, Volume 661 page 827. Geron H Neuenschwander and wife Gloria V, of Oklahoma County, OK, for $10 paid by Anton J Goertz and wife, Jane M Goertz of Red Rock, sold unto Anton J Goertz and Jane M Goertz: 1.00 acre lot, tract or parcel of land out of the Freeman Wilkenson Survey, A-347, described by metes and bounds on Exhibit A, shown on map Exhibit B.
10/22/1985 Vol 396 page 566 is deed Harold Olan Voigt and Gloria V Neuenschwander are surviving children of Olan Voigt and Naomah Voight as in Affidavit of Heirship 7/10/1985 Volume 381 page 203, That Geron H Neuenschwander and Gloria paid $10 to Harold Olan Voight 90.214 acres.
Unknown deeds from Albert Lentz and others until 1985 deed. May be in Collingsworth County, TX, his residence.
9/10/1924 Partition deed between Alma Wuneberger and Husband L F Wuneberger, Albert T Lentz and wife Nancy, Emma Pester and husband W F Pester, Laura Lee and husband S B Lee, Annie Fischer and husband Oscar Fischer, Oscar Lentz and Lorena Lentz, direct heirs and heirs in law of Gabe Lentz, our Father, and Martha Lentz, our mother. A 17 ¼ acre tract, including a 1 acre cemetery, to Albert T Lentz. 10/14/1924, Vol 77 page 495. Son Walter Harris Lentz isn't mentioned in the deed, was a minor in Gabe Lentz estate, with L F Wuneberger as guardian, going to California in 1922 at the age of 16, becoming of age in 1923, passing away in 1970. Albert Lentz moves to Collingsworth County, TX by 1940.
