Taken Apr. 2000

Taken Apr. 2000. My husband and I were there in 2000 and met a man who was working to clear some of the area searching for his relatives' headstones. We took pictures of the few headstones he had uncovered. A few years later we went back and the property had changed owners and was heavily posted. The area we could see from the road that had been somewhat cleared was completely overgrown again. It's a real shame that it is not accessible and able to be cleared. It is a large area and would take an enormous amount of work to clear. I'm so glad I took the few pictures I did. As far as I know they are the only recent pictures available of any headstones there.
