This cemetery is dedicated to Soong Ching-ling (Song Qingling), the wife of Sun Yat-sen and sister of Soong Mei-ling.

One part of the cemetery grounds is dedicated to foreign graves, which number in the hundreds. These include the graves of Jewish businessman Sir Elly Kadoorie and his wife Laura.

At the time of writing, the Google maps and satellite images are not properly synched in Shanghai. The GPS coordinates show the location in the Satellite view.

The closest subway station is Songyuan Road Station. It is adjacent to the cemetery.
