Mount Saint Joseph Cemetery was established in 1859 by Father Voisard, the 1st resident Priest of St. Patrick Church here in Port Colborne. The first burial is recorded as occurring in 1860. The present size of Mount Saint Joseph Cemetery is 6.6 acres. Frontage on Lakeshore Rd. East is 804.13 feet and it's depth is 500 feet. The present St. Patrick Church was built in 1879.
