Located on private property 1.5 miles west of US Hwy 290 on FM 1948.

An unmarked single grave was discovered circa 1958 beneath a grove of large Oak trees on private property originally belonging to the Harmel family. During widening and reconstruction of a new roadway designated FM 1948, this gravesite was in the path of the new roadway. Permission was granted to move the grave. A former TexDoT employee and other eye witness accounts of the careful exhumation indicated that the remains were that of an adult female. The remains were reentered in an open meadow at a higher location approximately 300 yards west and 100 yards north of the original site away from the roadway. A wooden construction
post marks the location. Neither research nor current Harmel family descendants are able to identify the unnamed person buried at this site.
