This cemetery is getting quite overgrown with saplings pushing up through caved-in graves and vines, shrubs and trees taking over entire family plots. It appears to be an active cemetery still, with someone being buried there as recently as 2004. There is no cemetery sign; just a rusted gate that is easy enough to walk around in order to get into the cemetery.

The back of Harrisburg Cemetery is next to the fence of Plummer Cheatham Cemetery, a separate cemetery with its own entrance.
