The Disciple Christian Church congregation purchased one acre of land from Daniel Southwick in 1847. A small church was built on the land in 1848 and used until 1915 when it was sold as a house and moved elsewhere.

After years of neglect, the cemetery board moved the monuments and headstones to the site of the old church and placed them in cement. The oldest burial stone from this abandoned cemetery has been dated to 1853.

The cemetery is located on Governors Road (Highway #2) on Lot 1 Concession 1 of Blenheim Township in Oxford County.
