Also known as Pitsligo Old Parish Church, this now ruined church was built circa 1630 but abandoned at the end of the 19th century when a new church was opened on an adjacent site. The new Hill Kirk of Rosehearty stands within the Peathill Churchyard.


There is a graveyard extension on the north east side of the church and a further adjoining extension towards the back of the churchyard.
