The old Echt graveyard is located on the B977 south of the junction with the B9119 at Echt village.

The old church at Echt was granted to Scone Abbey by Thomas, son of Malcolm de Lunden c1220, and confirmed by Pope Honorius in 1225. Nothing remains of the church but a small graveyard.

There is a new cemetery in Echt village within the grounds of Echt Parish Church.
