Glasgow North Cemetery, also known as North Glasgow Cemetery, was incorporated as a cemetery in 1907; however, it was in use for many decades prior to that time. The earliest date of death transcribed in 1991 by the Ontario Genealogical Society from an existing headstone was August 21, 1834.

A Primitive Methodist meeting house was erected on the land in 1851, but the cemetery was used by Methodist, Presbyterian and Anglican churches in the mid-1800's.
