Located to the rear of Milford Haven Cemetery, the 1988 book, "Tombstones of Mathews County," states that there were other stones now missing from this section, including a table tomb belonging to James Otis Billups, who was killed in Petersburg, Va. during the Battle of the Crater on 30 July 1864 at the age of 25.
