The Cox Cemetery is located at the end of Joe Abbott Way. A google map address that would best describe its location is 1410 Joe Abbot Way, Marion, Illinois, 62959. Joe Abbott Way is a dead end street that runs north and south of the Kroger's Grocery Store Parking Lot. One may access it by taking North Carbon Street north of New State Route 13, past Arby's, Turn East on Princton Street that leads into the Kroger's Parking Lot. The next street or what appears to be either an entrance into a business or an alley is Joe Abbott Way, Joe Abbott way only runs north. Take it until you can go no further. The road ends at a grassy, overgrown, wooded area. That area is where the Cox Cemetery is located. To the east of the Cemetery are new white sided duplexes to the west is the back of a small warehouse/garage and/or private residence back yard area. This photograph was taken as if standing on YOST LANE with is the lane that runs in front of the white sided duplexes, looking west towards the cemetery.
