From the usgenweb Otsego County Cemetery page;

" THIS CEMETERY IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE OLD TUNNICLIFF CEMETERY, LOCATED ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THE FORMER HOMESTEAD OF JOHN TUNNICLIFF, SR. "

The cemetery is completely overgrown with only 3 stones upright able to be read. There may have been as many as 20 or more stones originally, according to one of the present landowners. Many probably lay beneath more than a century(or two)of nature's debris.
Baptist church society meetings were once held at the Tunnicliff mansion's ballroom. The society that met there eventually built the Stone Church in Schuyler Lake. Some of it's members are buried here.
Some researchers claim that John Tunnicliff, SR, his second wife, Mary Woodhouse, as well as some of their children and grandchildren were also buried here.

The cemetery is located well off the road on aggressively patrolled private property. Trespassers are not welcome.
