This tiny cemetery contains only one marked grave (Grace Arrington). Even though this is the Calcote and Powell Cemetery, there is no evidence of other graves. The cemetery is surrounded by a chainlink fence that is in need of repair. Several sections of wire are missing.
To reach the cemetery, travel approx. 2.3 miles south on LA507 from it's intersection with US80 in downtown Simsboro. Turn right (west) on Lincoln Parish Rd. 303 (Eaves Rd.) and go about one tenth of a mile and turn right (north) on a newly graveled road. The cemetery is less than a tenth of a mile on the right side of the road.
