Tamworth S.Editha St Editha's Square, Church Street, Tamworth, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 4AD
St Editha's Churchyard closed (with some exceptions) in 1856, after which Tamworth burials largely took place at the "New Burial Ground", or Aldergate Cemetery, next door to St Editha. A second new cemetery for Tamworth opened in 1876 at Wigginton Road. Aldergate Cemetery was consequently closed to new burials in 1876, although family burials continued into the 20th century. Tamworth deaths recorded in the St Editha's burial register after 1856 were therefore likely interred elsewhere than St Editha Churchyard.
